Elizabeth Wood (Concord, CA) began her association with CCMT in 1971. She has been actively involved with local theater companies as a performer, choreographer, production manager, board member and CCMT President. She’s received four Shellie Awards for Outstanding Choreography, and in 2004 she received CCMT's Shellie Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts. Liz has a BA in Business Management from St. Mary’s College. She retired from Chevron Corporation after 30 years of service. In semi-retirement, she has worked at local law offices, and currently works at the Law Office of William C. Vencill. Liz served on the Contra Costa County Art & Culture Commission from 2010-2021. She is proud to have assisted in the growth and success of CCMT during the past 49+ years and hopes to be able to contribute to its future successes.

R. Martin Newton (Concord, CA) has been a member of the theatre community for over 30 years and brings much theatre experience as well as life experience to his role. He is passionate about CCMT and helping the organization meet its objectives and goals in the coming years. He has worked on stage, backstage and as Stage Manager and looks forward to using his diverse background with CCMT to bring the theater company into its next phase of growth.

James Coniglio (Pittsburg, CA) Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Cal State East Bay. He currently works in the environmental sciences field providing groundwater cleanup for the Delta, which has the potential to impact our drinking water. He appeared in several CCMT productions before his three beautiful children were born. Now he serves as secretary to the Board.

Linda Carter (Oakley, CA) has served on the CCMT Board of Directors since 2000. Since 2001, Linda has served as Treasurer and has been a key asset in providing strong financial guidance to CCMT's Board of Directors. In addition to providing strong financial guidance to CCMT, Linda enjoys being CCMT's company photographer and has provided photo documentation for every CCMT production since 2001. By day, Linda is a Senior Vice President for Bank of America and lives in Oakley with her husband, Larry.

Liz Nunan (Pleasant Hill, CA) is a wife, mom and communications professional. During her career she’s had the privilege to lead communications strategies for companies such as Gap Inc. and its brands, Visa Inc. and Central Garden & Pet. Liz has always had a love for musical theater and performed in many shows throughout high school and college (and a couple of CCMT shows after that!). She is passionate about bringing the joy of theater to the community and fostering an inclusive experience for performers and audiences alike. Born and raised in Las Vegas, she tries to keep the neon lights on in her soul by writing, singing back up and finding the fun in the everyday.

Chloe Etienne (Pleasant Hill, CA) is excited to be joining the CCMT Board. She is a scientist who has been doing digital marketing for a local biotech company for the past 8 years. As a child she had the opportunity to perform in multiple community theater plays and musicals and fell in love with the camaraderie, grit, and teamwork it takes to put on a show. Thankfully, her son has had the opportunity to perform in a few of CCMT’s more recent shows, instilling in him a lifelong appreciation of the arts as well. As a part of CCMT’s marketing team, she plans to communicate the magic that is musical theater and to inspire more people to see it, feel it and participate in it. What are we without the arts?

Scott Lohman (Lafayette, CA) is a lifelong theater enthusiast, actor and performer beginning with his first role as Winthrop in the Music Man at 8 and including university level studies in theater and vocal music, various other roles in civic and community theater, multiple choirs and bands. With three sons and a daughter all following their own creative pursuits ranging from rock band member to culinary arts to dance and stage performance Scott is dedicated to leveraging his combination of theatrical, business, technical and general life experience to ensure that the arts and more specifically CCMT continue to thrive in the East Bay.

Ray Perez (Martinez, CA) was born and raised on the Island of Guam. He came to the United States for improved education and career opportunities, and in 1980 began performing in local theatre. He performed in many productions with CCMT and DLOC. He was also a member of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus for four years. Ray worked for Chevron Corporation starting with data entry then to Operations, hardware installation, and finally as a Programmer Analyst. He hopes to apply these skills to help CCMT on the road to fulfilling their mission.

David Pinkham (Lafayette, CA) began his theatrical career as Nicely Nicely Johnson in a Miramonte High School (Orinda) production of Guys and Dolls. A drama major in college gave way, ultimately, to a first career as a Horse Ranch Manager and an early interest in personal computing. He retired recently as a Solution Director for CompuCom, an international IT Services company, after 30 years in the field. Dave has been active as a Performer, Stage Hand, Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Set Designer, Producer, Technical Director and Director of theatrical and dance productions in the Bay Area for more than thirty years and his son and daughter-in-law are full time Broadway actors. He serves as the Artistic Director of the Campolindo High School Musical Theatre program in Moraga. Previous non-profit experience includes a term on the Board of the Lafayette Town Hall Theatre. Dave is eager to bring his organizational, problem solving and broad theater experience to CCMT.

Soozie Nauss (Pittsburg, CA) has been involved with local theatre for many years. She has played many roles for CCMT including a Board Member, Production Manager, Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, deck crew and more. She also served as Production Manager for Festival Opera, Crossroads Theater and The Willows Theater Company and Stage Manager for Diablo Light Opera Company. Soozie retired as a materials Coordinator from John Muir Hospital and was previously a Purchasing Agent for Alta Bates Hospital for 10+ years. She belonged to several Professional Purchasing Associations during her Hospital career. Soozie belonged to Moraga Horseman’s Association as well as showing horses for many years.

Diella Wottrich (Lafayette, CA) is an actor, singer, dancer and has performed with Contra Costa Musical Theatre, Center REPertory Company, Berkeley Playhouse, Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble, Diablo Theatre Company, Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre, Town Hall Theatre, The Mountain Play, and other Bay Area theatre companies for many years. She teaches youth tap at The Ballet School Performing Arts, and outside of the performing world, she is married, has two kids, and works as an SSA in special education at Burton Valley Elementary. She has a BA in Sociology (Social Psychology) from UCLA and previous jobs include Preschool Teacher, Hospice Patient Care Asst., and Admin Asst. at a primary care/nephrology practice. With Diella's love for theatre, she hopes to help CCMT continue to bring quality musical theatre to its audiences and thrive into the future!!

Emily Hurlbut (Walnut Creek, CA) has been a part of every CCMT show in some capacity since the production of Les Misérables in 2014. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience, she saw her first show (Wicked) in San Francisco and discovered a hidden love for musical theatre. She subsequently spent the last 10 years inching further from a career in science and math, toward one in theatre and the arts. She has worked with several local theatre companies as a stagehand, dresser, sound assistant, assistant stage manager, and stage manager. Recently, she accepted a full-time position as Operations Manager for I Can Do That! Performing Arts Center in Danville, CA and she’s never been happier! As a part of CCMT’s Board of Directors, she hopes to help introduce musical theatre to as many members of the community as possible, and to inspire them as she was inspired!
